Currently, as people celebrate the Fourth of July holiday, millions are enjoying their time at the beach around the United States. However, a serious situation has arisen as multiple people have been bitten by a shark in South Padre Island, Texas. Officials report that the shark attacks occurred within two hours of each other. Two men and two women were reportedly attacked by the shark. One of the men and one of the women were sent to the hospital, and the other woman had half of her leg bitten off, according to witnesses. The man's injuries are unknown at this time as the situation is still developing. Officials are asking residents not to swim in the ocean at this time.
