This tip can help almost every pitcher.
Front foot down, then throw, is the feeling you want.
Allow your delivery to happen, get to a strong position at foot strike, then bring down the house.
Well timed intensity.
Stay sideways, keep backside connected as long as possible.
Gather rhythm before foot strike & get violent after. Rotate late in a hallway, be patient.

Dancing on the mound, or moving to one side of the rubber against RHB the opposite side against LHB, can be an advantage for pitchers with arsenals that ride the horizontal line.
Dancing can help improve tunneling & command.

I believe 2-seam usage will continue to rise this season as more teams lean towards sweeping sliders to play off it.
Simple tips,
• Play around with grip pressure
• Let it rip

Fundamental keys to build command,
• Throw to targets regularly
• Every throw must have a purpose
• Get majority of your drill work done on the mound

Longest I’ve took off from throwing after coming off a season and it feels great.
s/o to the guy always at the park yelling at me to “use my back” and @fernely_jr for showing me how to make jogging fun again 🥊

Congratulations to our 2022 @mercy_health Player of the Year @connor_owings
He’s been a vocal leader in the clubhouse all summer long and it’s safe to say this team would not be fighting for a Playoff spot with 9 games to go without the contributions of Owings.
