My name is Tiferet Lapidot, my name means "glory" or "splendor" in Hebrew, and I was a Jewish young woman who was murdered by the barbarian terrorists on October 7th.

The terrorists attacked on Shabbat, and my father told a group of rabbis about getting a phone call that morning.

"Who would call us on Shabbat if it were not an emergency?" my father asked.

When he picked up the phone, I was saying my goodbyes.

Sadly, I tried to run away from the Hamas terrorists who were blinded by their bloodlust for Jews, but I was murdered.

I was one of about 1,200 people, mostly all Jewish Israelis, who were killed that day.

I was also a dual Canadian-Israeli citizen.
