It was so unlikely. I think one unheralded factor was the development of Hard Rock. If that hadn’t happened would there have been any feasibility for reopening it at all?

As far as once it was operational I think the lobby to casino elevators and the inadvertent negative to positive of its design for Covid may have been the most important changes.

If not for all this would the building even still standing 9 years after the death of Revel.

@AC_Danzis I was there last week and for all the updates it still feels like the same old Ballys when you walk inside the casino. Even Showboat has more pizzazz and vivacity with its new stuff. I don’t like HR personally but when you walk in it feels comprehensively updated from the Taj.
