@BeckyWhin Its such a balancing act,we still have a lot of problems with sleeping. Cait can have 14 hour naps but then also struggle with getting to sleep because her brain activity is too much, we're constantly adjusting meds to try and get it right.
@BeckyWhin Lovely. We're lucky that the estate we live on was built in the 1930s with big gardens, so we're surrounded by very mature trees, in my garden the views are trees, trees, and sky! We have a lot of birds and a lot of squirrel visitors
@BeckyWhin No advice, but here's some visual calm for you. Plantation Garden here in Norwich, this is right in the middle of the city, a little chill oasis I like to visit when my mind needs a rest ❤️
@BeckyWhin When Cait was young I'd do her EMLA cream before appts, she would get so fed up with the whole thing. I'd try to distract with music, bubbles, tv, you name it. One time I thought I'd make up a silly rhyme, only for her to look at me, shake her head and whisper 'unprofessional' 🤣
Emergency Alert day has been confirmed as 7th September. If you have a secret phone for safety go to settings and turn off all government notifications. Setting it to silent or airplane is not enough 🚨 (guidance on each step is on the internet). Spread the word
@JanetEmson Holkham beach is lovely, but Holkham Hall is also great for kids, loads of outdoor space and walks, there's a deer safari and a play area that's challenging enough for older kids. Have a look at their website because there's often different events going on.
@BeckyWhin I'm putting my yoga teacher hat on, you can't have strength without flexibility. You know where your roots are, you can lean away for a moment into your own space - you bend so you don't break. Back to my fellow parent hat, have a day off, you deserve it 😉

@BeckyWhin We've been in a similar situation, I remember literally watching her lips start plumping and colour coming back to her poorly grey skin, it was simultaneously awful but miraculous. Hopefully this'll take the pressure off for a bit and let her recover ❤️
