Tonight my 15-month-old son probably doesn’t understand why he got to watch Blue’s Clues a little longer than normal… or why I let him have pizza when we usually stick to meat, fruits, and veggies… or why I hugged his mom a little tighter at bedtime.
But as I put my phone down, turned off the noise of social media and sports, and just watched a cooking show with my wife—I was reminded that life is precious.
Somewhere tonight, there’s a mom with two little ones who doesn’t have their dad to sneak pizza with them, to watch their shows, or to hug them tight. And while I know that’s true every day in this world, today made me pause and realize again just how blessed we are—and how fragile life really is.
Today has been hard. I’ve cried a lot. But I want to encourage you: love your people well. Hug tighter. Be present. Let them know how much they mean to you.
Prayers for the Kirk family and for America tonight. They need all they can get—and it’s clear our country does too. ❤️🙏
I hope tomorrow we began to work towards peace and unity on both. 🙌
(Back to sports tomorrow for me but if you ever need someone to talk or let the anger out to. My DMS are open)
@Lunatixx14@TerrellTres The bone he broke is one of the hardest to heal in the body. I think they may also want to redshirt him this year to have him next year.
