@LautyTerranova That's why I think having Barco, who can step into midfield and provide a 3rd midfielder allows Macallister to play higher and the midfield not be exposed

For his own development I think Lamare Bogarde needs to leave the club this summer.

His versatility is very useful but I feel he needs to establish a position and secure consistent minutes and a starting role.

@LautyTerranova I just don't trust Tagliafico or Medina at LB personally and think Barco playing there allows you to play with a LB and someone who can help in the middle at times.

Can play more attackers than another midfielder if Barco helps out
