I met my other hero! Dr. Steven Rosenberg pioneered the first immunotherapies. I read his “Transformed Cell” book as a kid—it inspired to me pursue a MD/PhD. I am particularly interested in immunotherapy for solid tumors like HCC! This a major hurtle that I am truly excited by!

New paper! Liver transplant patient was removed from waitlist due to positive blood alcohol. They said they didn’t drink—No one believed it. BUT we believed it! They had a gut infection that produced its own alcohol. Got a liver & new chance at life!
