@Benjwinst We can only attract 'one last pay-day' players, e.g. Ben White, Wan-Bissaka, or younger players looking to step-up, e.g. Hackney, George, in my opinion. Problem we have, is the manager wants players like White, but the recruitment team want players like George.
@Warren_Evans Why even go and meet Ferguson, I just don't get that? Oppo manager calls, you say "What do you want?" He says "Rooney." You say "Cheerio strawberry nose!!" You've done your job as Everton manager. 🤝
@talk_toffee If any of the promoted teams are close to us, then we're in the 💩 and TFG/KINNEAR/MOYES have wasted a great opportunity to make us relevant again. A bang average Man U and Liverpool finished in the Top 5 this season gone, we should be in amongst them, if we invest well.
@3boodrak So because JG tackles, he would be a nightmare to referee? Isn't the referee there to manage a contact sport game, or is he just there to pick up his fee for doing as little as possible! Clueless, the absolute lot of them 🤯
@PED7 That makes no sense whatsoever!! So let teams like Rayo Valecano or Shaktar or Fiorentina have their moments to remember, rather than Palace or West Ham or, God forbid, Everton one day, if we ever have the ambition to do so!!
@Benjwinst Yes! It hurts more, and you will probably find out soon enough, when you have to explain to your children that Everton used to do things like win trophies and compete in Europe, whilst other adults look at you and say " Did they?!!"
@RoperCarl Spot on! I had to tell my 14 year old how sad I am that Crystal Palace have won the FA Cup and a European Trophy more recently than Everton! Problem is, the rest of football would think I'm talking 💩 about Palace, as they consider us equals 🤯
@Benjwinst@thebullensview 5.5 out of 10. Moyes has delivered what I expected, stability and uninspiring football. TFG have NOT delivered what I hoped for, which is ambition and to push for a cup. Both Moyes and TFG, if Moyes is to remain in charge, need to up their game.
