@FT Australians are not the only one. It's pretty much the entire world.
Trump's literally going to drive prices higher for everyone. He will single handedly cause the next recession as consumers can't afford increased prices.
If pundits tells you something is true, and you don’t have the critical thinking skills to evaluate their statements, then you are putty in their hands, as they shape your world view to their will.
@PrairieFIRE_CA More so in the housing. The way I see it is that the average American is living paycheck to paycheck, barely saving anything, can't afford a $1,000 expense, regulations being pulled back on mortgages, inflation increasing, wages being flat, and a potential trade war looming.
@PrairieFIRE_CA Don't forget that Dodd Frank laws have been repealed for 6000+ small banks under $250b in assets. So, subprime lending will be on the rise again.
Yay the GOP
@FT The only thing that Trump's tariffs hurt is the average American who is going to face increasingly more expensive goods/services.
Don't pretend that this trade war will help anyone. Free trade has been proven to be beneficial for all parties involved.
...the other shoe drops
Trade wars are bad for everyone, especially for the average American who cannot even afford a $1,000 emergency expense https://t.co/qbYPvI6uFW
@ABC@realDonaldTrump what a terrible decision that will hurt the U.S. economy far more than it will help.
The last time the U.S. had tariffs instead of free trade, we were in the #greatdepression
Complaining is a sure fire way to lose in life. Living life as a pessimist may be the one biggest mistake we as humans can make.

The U.S. is the richest country in the history of the world and also the current leader of inequality from the very rich to the very poor.
