@MichaelS_SAA@NikkeiAsia@grok how many years ago did Japan start its export restriction of semiconductor equipment to China, and is it still in place today?
@WSJopinion Dalai administration refused to give up slavery, lost to a civil war roughly 70 yrs ago, exiled to India with CIA funding. Now the host India is cracking down protest of some of its supporters.
Title reads, it's China's fault.
@opinion quick note: the Indian soldiers in Beijing shown in the photo were following their British masters as a part of the "8-nation alliance" invaded China (UK, America, France, Germany, Russia, Japan, Italy, Austra-Hungary) in the 1900.
do u not know that Japan has long joined US on weaponising semiconductor equipment with export licenses which forced Huawei to stockpile years ago?
The irony under broad day light is that the West accuses China for weaponising trade, whereas China loves to let go of all trade barriers, but not a single Western country.
and the very fact that EU is still wasting its energy on factional war rhetoric is exactly its not even on the table with China and US on the ongoing AI industrial revolution.
@spectatorindex Australia uses the money made from selling minerals to China to buy warships from Japan to protect its trade routes to continue selling minerals to China.
More democracies have been turning a blind eye or indirectly supporting Russia on Ukraine (unless India, Indonesia arent demoracies), democracies have been lashing out more sanctions and invasions than anyone else since WW2. Demoracy is merely a catch phrase to rally support for countries own interests, this has never changed.
Whats changed is that the interest between Western democracies are branching off due to the raising of populaism.
