I highly recommend getting comfortable with attending events, coffee shops, museums, movies, concerts, and traveling by yourself so you don’t miss out on life waiting on people who might never show up.
Adulting advice???? Always make time to travel, even if it’s not an expensive trip. Take time to unwind. Give yourself the chance to breathe. It’s crucial for your mental health. Visit the beach and don’t feel guilty for spending your hard earned money. You deserve to enjoy life.
I eat food without taking pictures. I wear nice outfits that never hit social media. I have moments so real, I forget to record. I laugh 10x harder in person than any "LMAO" could ever show." Just because it's not posted, doesn't mean it's not happening. I don't need an audience to enjoy my life.
I hate how social media makes us forget that life has stages. It’s normal to be broke, to have broke friends or partners and yes it’s even normal to be unemployed at times. These are phases we all go through.
Some people are lucky enough to find good jobs at a young age and afford a certain lifestyle. Others take longer and that’s perfectly okay. We need to stop comparing ourselves and start accepting our journey. I just want all of us to be at peace with where we are in life while still working and striving for better.
Ages 25-30 are crucial. You’re accepting that your friend group is getting smaller, your parents are getting older, you’re cleaning up the financial mess from your early 20s, managing your career and health. And somehow, you still need to find time to heal your mind.
@Dearme2_ SOCIAL MEDIA IS A DISTRACTION FROM WHAT MATTERS.
The reality is, the most valuable moments happen away from the screen, real conversations, personal growth, and genuine experiences.
Stop living for likes and start living for yourself. Your best life is offline.
Maturity is keeping your personal life, conflicts, struggles, and breakups private. Tell your closest people. For the rest, don't explain yourself and let them assume whatever they want. It's healthy when people don't know your business, don't understand you, and don't like you.
