There still time to grab Eldritch Academy and/or Eldritch University from Steam/itchio while they're on sale!
If you're interested in Yuri romance or supernatural thrillers, be sure to check out these visual novels! (And if you enjoy them, don't forget to leave a review!)
@RedWebPod (I bring up this point because it seemed like the episode conflated the two at one point. While the HRE's emperor claimed authority from the Pope, HRE is mostly a pre-Prussia version of Germany, plus some other groups.)
@RedWebPod Really interesting episode, even if the historical attitudes and events are kind of upsetting...
I normally don't like to openly nitpick about pedantic details, but the Holy Roman Empire is not the same as the Papal States, especially in the time period covered.
@VelvetiqueG I'd consider adding you just to see if it would help either of us, but...
1) Not sure how often I'll play the game
2) I named my character the default name, so I'd look like a random
Curious how it works, though. Especially if a friend doesn't own the support character.
@VelvetiqueG Not sure if it's the very first, but Genesis chapter 2 comes to mind.
"Remember how I made the world last chapter? I'm about to make it again."
I was going to try to fill out the different Pokedexes on Pokemon HOME, but then I realized that some entries are bugged (Keldeo) and remembered how unfun BDSP was for me. Not sure I have the motivation to do it anymore...
It's taken far too long to get back to it, but I managed to implement art for a few more events in Life as Designed today. I almost have two full routes finished now.
Part of me wishes I had the courage (audacity?) to spam little details about my characters like I see some other indie creators do.
As an example: Kasumi (from EA and EU) ends up being addicted to the shooter game she is introduced to in the epilogue scenes of EU.
it's time for my semi-regular obnoxious reminder to ask you lovely people, if you've read any of my vns on steam, to review them! reviews help with The Algorithm a lot, and will give my vns a bit of a visibility boost!
your comments will all be very much appreciated! 💕✨
I realize not everyone is knowledgeable or invested in Star Wars lore, but it always upsets me when people who present themselves as experts refer to every new dark side Force user as a "Sith".
For context, it's like calling everyone who believes in a single deity a Baptist.
Again, I know not everyone knows or cares about these things. But an actual "expert" wouldn't make this mistake. There are complicated, sometimes contradictory things in Star Wars lore. This is not one of those complicated details.
@VelvetiqueG I saw a claim that dataminers found Ada in the files for Mercenaries, including a new outfit. So I'm hoping this means they do have plans for a Separate Ways DLC that will also add her to Mercenaries.
In other news, my laptop has lost some portability for the time being. And I'm realizing I may have to start learning about hardware as much as I learn about software...
"I wonder why my 4-year old laptop battery is swelling."

"...They need to be replaced every 2 years or they can burst?!"
(frantic scramble for a screwdriver)
A more recent example: Sakura Maruyama and her sisters are named after flowers. My notes for her name kanji do not use the flower's kanji. But now I'm attached to the current spelling and it's all over my notes files, putting me in a complicated situation.
The curse I've inflicted on myself by creating so many Japanese characters for my stories is that the more I learn about kanji, the less certain I am about how some of their names should be spelled.
Decisions I made almost ten years ago are starting to haunt me. And it's almost never characters that will never appear again that have weird spellings, either. It's usually major characters whose names are fairly set in stone.
