Sabrina Carpenter pens tribute to the late Dolly Parton:
“the only thing i could say after we first met was "she really is an angel walking the earth" and “we look like we could be sisters!"
i will cherish our laughter and conversations and i will keep your wisdom, your playful outlook on life, and perfect sense of humor in my pocket for the rainy days. there will never be another you and how lucky are we all to have experienced your singular magic as well as your once in a lifetime voice, songs, and heart. your light will be something the world will search forever to find again, i will always love you”
This is such a nice, thoughtful thing to do and I feel it's more common among the older generation. A totally unprompted, sincere letter encouraging someone.
had a life altering dish at a Laotian restaurant a few weeks back so we tried to make it ourselves 🤓 Nam Khao (we laminated the recipe we are really about this shit)
Being 25 (almost 26) means that
- the people my age are still making up lost time from covid
- the people who are older than me aren't sure they wanna settle down
- the people younger than me are fundamentally different.
We are in, arguably, one of the hardest times to settle down and find someone we feel we can trust. It literally feels like I'm a fish out of water.
