Half a video, half an attempt.
@ITFCWomen biggest game in history at Portman Road today, Clubs main socials unable to promote it because of this mess.
Shambolic.

Gaslighting based apology - “I’m sorry you’re upset”
Smirk on face, zero accountability, none of the issues addressed.
“We are better when we move as one” -From the man who acted solely in his own interests, using the club for his own agenda.
Embarrassing.

Mark Ashton cannot be allowed to sit and hope this quietly disappears. As current Chairman / CEO he has to have accountability. This is our football club, and to quote the man himself, he is simply “custodian”’

Yesterday, we called for an apology from Ipswich Town over the Nigel Farage fiasco.
Today, with numerous versions of events circulating, we ask them to set the record straight.
We’ve asked the club to respond to these 7 questions ⬇️

Nigel Farage’s visit to Ipswich Town this week has sparked a major backlash.
Fans have accused the club of allowing itself to be used for political purposes, but there is also internal dissent at the club’s handling of the affair.
The Athletic can now reveal that the club’s depiction of the visit, as presented to both staff and media, is being heavily disputed.
This is the inside story of a chaotic 72 hours.

Ipswich Town is a special football club. They’ve got so many things right over the past five years and beyond.
But they got this badly wrong - and now they should apologise.
My thoughts ⬇️

@Shaun_Button_ It’s not rocket science. Block A / Blue Action need to be in SAR3 or SAR6 next to the away fans.
Need to be in an open faced stand like SBR or SAR where the sound can escape towards the pitch, rather than getting caught under the roof like in The Cobbold
@CharBluehare @Stuart_Watson It is poorly worded and explained, but I’m pretty sure those brackets mean that the ballot is only 25% of tickets available for any given home game
Not the only thing the club hasn’t communicated properly as it hasn’t explained how you can apparently enter the ballot as a group
@ShakeyStephens@IpswichTown Did for 10yrs before leaving for uni, at that point & early years of working it wasn’t financially viable for me. Early Lg1 campaigns away days made more sense than going to Suffolk every Sat, then missed the boat before they sold out and have paid the price since. Circumstances
@IpswichTown This could be ABSOLUTELY CRUCIAL
If they add tiers AFTER ballot the system becomes alot fairer
Gives new fans from last season a chance via ballot, then gives 75% of available tickets to fans with 5+ games or similar
Would be very sneaky not announcing in the first instance
@IpswichTown So, roughy….
28000 tix
20000 st
2800 away
5200 left
1300 home ballot priority
3900 for members after that
None of this includes corporates
Cheers @IpswichTown for rewarding loyalty of attending 90% of home games past two years without a ST 🙃
Benefits noone but tourists
