A few months ago, Jack Nunn was playing in the Gloucestershire County Cup final for Mangotsfield United.

In a few days' time, the Bristol-born midfielder will come up against Inter Milan.

This is his story. It’s never too late 👏

Jack Nunn had dreamed of playing for #BristolCity but had started to think his chances of a shot at a pro club were over 🔴⚪

In just four months he's gone from college student to signing for Serie A side Cagliari 🇮🇹

🚨📰 From Hellenic League to Serie A

After the news at the start of the season that our leading Goalscorer from last season Jadyn Crosbie had signed a 2 year deal at Torquay United, we’re absolutely delighted to share with you all another success story!

Jack Nunn, who broke into the senior team at just the age of 16 and became a familiar face in Glyn Ashtons squad at Mangotsfield United, has just signed a professional contract with Italian Serie A side Cagliari Calcio, based in Sardinia! While it’s obviously a huge loss to us here, we couldn’t be more happy for Jack on this fantastic accomplishment and it’s no more than he deserves!

Jack joined Mangotsfield United youth setup at age 7 and throughout his development through the age groups grew and continued to show great promise, both for Mangotsfield United and Bristol Inner City (BIC), who he joined at 8 where Jack also trained and played as a youth player.

Moving out of the youth set up, Jack joined SGS college and signed for Mangotsfield United 1st team, over the next two seasons, he would become a regular and was part of the two sides that won both the League Cup and the County Cup.

He also represented England Colleges and it was at a competition in Italy for this side Jack was approached by the Italian professional side.

He will begin in their Under 20’s with the hope that over the next couple of seasons he can break into the first team. I am sure you’ll all join us as we wish him all the very best in his future career and thank him for his loyalty, dedication and service to Mangotsfield United.

And its Hutchison!

Ashton plays it down the left to Nunn, who cuts it back across to the edge of the box, where Hutchison runs on to it and strikes it 1st time just inside the right post!
