#W23POPMUS I disagree with Walt because now more people are writing original songs then before the Beatles. however new technology's have effected how people consume live bands, because of things like autotune being used in live shows people aren't getting the same experience.

"schlock" was called that cause it was thought as inferior to the original. artist have covered songs and can make it there own by doing so, however this music seems to just be stolen from black artist with a white person singing it instead and doesn't add anything new.#W23POPMUS

#w23popmus pop music today has the 'false needs' for people to have to have money to be better then others, for the most part most pop music has been "dumbed-down" cause most people don't solely listen to music like they used to, and nowadays is mostly used as background noise.
