@JamaicaObserver I thought something was behind her stepping back. I just couldn't put my finger on it.
Condolences to her, the family, their friends and colleagues.
Courage, support & love! These they need now.
Remembering the late great, the Most Honourable Edward Phillip George Seaga on what would have been his 96th birthday.

A most distinguished Jamaican. π―π²
@jamrockerz11@AndrewHolnessJM Statistics without context.
How many other countries have our propensity to use violence for everything?
How many have police confronting violent, heavily armed, gangs which prefer death to facing the court?
Prime Minister Holness met today with the National Road Safety Council and the respective portfolio Ministers and conducted a thorough review of the state of affairs on the nation's roads.
There is absolutely no one who has listened to Mayor Swaby's utterances over the past few months, including prior to September 3, 2025, who should be surprised that a NaRRA type bill would concern him.
Hold onβ¦
We lend Turks some police or them resign and go work for Turks and Caicos?
A contingent from the JCF imply they are still attached to the JCF? π€
I am in Turks and Caicos Islands, where I am meeting with a contingent from the Jamaica Constabulary Force. These officers have been instrumental in helping to reduce crime here in the islands. Our officers are exceptionally well trained, and their presence here is a testament to that training. The Government of the islands is pleased with the work these officers have been doing under the leadership of Commissioner Fitz Bailey.
I had the pleasure of inspecting our officers and speaking with them about the important work they have been carrying out here.
It was an absolute pleasure to be able to provide building grants valued at $100,000 each to 100 of my constituents whose houses were impacted by Hurricane Mellisa. The beneficiaries are very thankful for this assistance. These grants were made possible through the 10 million dollars allocation afforded to all Members of Parliament in affected constituencies through the Ministry of Economic Growth and Infrastructure Development.

My constituents in Berwick Town are not just getting a brand new road! They are also getting access to potable water! As we advance road construction, a massive pipe laying exercise is being undertaken in the community to ensure that residents who have never ever had access to potable water will now enjoy this precious commodity! This is what I absolutely love about the SPARK programme, it is more than building roads, it involves the construction of proper drains as well as pipe lines and side walks where needed. Even as the residents witness the transformation of their community, they are still finding it hard to believe that after decades of neglect, help is finally here . It is true, who represents you matter. #OurManchesterCentral #AlwaysWorking #RhodaDeliversAgain
