Come and join us at the University of Nottingham to learn more about the latest research in Tourette Syndrome! This free research event on the 15th of May involves a panel of world-renowned experts who will delve into their research and answer any questions 💡
We are excited to invite you to our Tourette's Research event taking place on the 15th May, 17.00-19.00 at the University of Nottingham. Please follow this link (https://t.co/kbuGsl8tus) or scan the QR code to complete a quick (2 minute) expression of interest form.
And finally, we welcome two new researchers to the lab! Dr. Cyril Atkinson-Clement is a Research Fellow who will be researching the effect of ultrasound stimulation on tic expression and Aneta Dvorakova is a new PhD student investigating neural entrainment with neuromodulation!
We also share two of our recent pre-prints understanding urges and median nerve stimulation! For a full list of our recent publications, please see https://t.co/N6cAP3DPsy
We are recruiting those with Tourette Syndrome and tic disorders to take part in research involving brain scanning and brain stimulation! Have a look at our website to find out more and get in touch: https://t.co/KEuaMvM09d #TouretteSyndromeResearch@tourettesaction@jackson684
We had a great time at the Sensorimotor Conference hosted by the University of Cambridge! We shared some results from our MRI research investigating median nerve stimulation and muscle movements in Tourette Syndrome.
As well as the lack of support for TS, there is a lack of effective treatment options. Medications that can help symptoms often come with unpleasant side effects. This series discusses current research into new treatments for TS, including research from @JacksonLab_TS!
