Who the f*** are "we", anyway? We, white Anglo Americans? I'm sorry, by anthropological & political standards, there are many nations living under the US flag. There's no way we can comfortably speak of one American nation that has an exclusive right to anything. Wake up, #Tucker
Watch @LastWeekTonight, 12:09: #Tucker equates "dismantling a system of oppression" with "dismantling the American system of government".
That's about as blatant an admission that in his mind, it's okay for the government to be oppressive.

Instead of arguing America's IS NOT a system of oppression, #Tucker adds, "We have every right to fight to preserve our nation, our heritage, and our culture" (btw, as if there is only one of each of those in the U.S.). Kudos to @iamjohnoliver for unpacking #TuckerCarlson for us.
@w_terrence To put it very simply, 2 reasons:
๐ accountability, which also will help deter future dictator wannabes
๐ preventing him (a danger to America & the world) from running again
"So you think the Founding Fathers' intent was to throw out millions of votes because of a suspicion?"
Genius. @PamelaBrownCNN, my kind of journalist.
Legend has it that @RepCawthorn still has nightmares when he relives the longest 10 mins of his life.

The executive order, which was signed eight days after he took office, was an attempt to fulfill his campaign promise to โdrain the swamp.โ
But with less than 12 hours left in office, Trump has now removed those limitations on his own aides
@BellonaBlack @benegotherit You guys are not listening to each other. There are valid points on both sides. There are things worth conserving from the American Revolution, but obviously not the slaveholding part. Classical liberalism was a reaction to absolute monarchy & moved us in the right direction.
@RealCandaceO Not sure why? Does "Assault on the Capitol" ring a bell?
An insurrection-inciting out-going President who claims the in-coming one is not legitimate?
Good reasons to be concerned.
