I hope I’m not the only person who finds the fact that the Idaho GOP leadership has chosen to adopt the moniker of “Idaho state central committee” somewhat alarming.
I mean, did these crayon eating luddites skip history class, you know…. Where we were taught that the soviets adopted the eerily similar moniker “central committee of the communist party of the Soviet Union”…

Ok, and if the farmer is paying more in wages you’ll be paying more for food which will just elevate the demand for higher wages which will lead to farmers paying more which will increase food costs etc etc
And it’s true that some portion of the wages earned are sent to the home country, but it’s also true that often immigrants will be using social security numbers they will pay into but rarely draw from and they do indeed spend money locally as well
My point is that we need reforms to immigration that legitimizes migration labor and endures they pay taxes etc.

Easy, by the definition that any strict pro life person see this she is essentially creating many lives that are mostly discarded.
Say she freezes 100 eggs then at some point fertilizes ten, of those ten then chooses one to be allowed to survive, she has chosen to kill the other nine.
It can be argued that a fertilized egg isn’t yet an embryo, and I don’t entirely disagree but to the hardline pro life crowd it’s essentially premeditated abortion.
I oppose open access to abortion but at some point we as Christian’s have to leave it to God to hold them accountable, not take up the burden of preventing sin.

In the phrase “name a sport” the “a” is an indefinite identifier which allows for multiple sports being listed though you aren’t wrong that it is generally seen as asking for a single sport to be named in the answer. Answering with more than one is not wrong, simply not requested.
However curling doesn’t use balls do perhaps you should reconsider calling others retards for exceeding the request when you fail to meet the request at all

The debate around flock cameras seems rather opaque.
One side argues in favor due to crimes solved etc while the other shows concern over data acquisition and storage and the basic right to exist without unwarranted surveillance. I will say that I get the argument against being essentially Stevie’s in case I commit a crime.
The thing is, I hear all about the crimes solved from the proponents but they never address the data acquisition and storage questions…. Choosing instead to ignore these concerns as obvious signs that anyone raising them must be concerned because they’re criminal, thus anyone not engaging in crime should be in support of flock.
Ok, I get it…. But the fact is that I’d like to know who has access to the data and where it’s stored etc… not because I’m currently engaged in criminal activity (not intentionally anyway) but because once the infrastructure of control has been built I have zero faith that the powers that be won’t move the lines of criminal activity. This applies to both conservatives and progressives, we see things being pulled radically both ways. Progressives on the extreme are openly advocating to persecute anyone who voted for the guy they don’t like and we see conservative extremism calling for the persecution of anyone who dares protest their agenda. In the end one side will be given the chance to leverage things like flock, how do we safeguard against that?
