West Ham United have confirmed that Joint-Chair David Sullivan has stepped down from his position with immediate effect.
Mr Sullivan has also resigned as a director of both WH Holding Limited and West Ham United Football Club, having been made aware of the impending publication of serious historic allegations. It is understood none of the allegations relate to West Ham United or any of its operations.
Through his own legal representatives Mr Sullivan denies any illegal conduct and has taken the decision to step down in order to avoid disruption to the Club while he addresses the matter privately.
Interim Chief Executive Officer Karim Virani, reporting into the current Board of Directors, will continue to be responsible for leading the Club’s day-to-day operations. The Club will provide an update on the future structure of the Board of Directors in due course, but will make no further comment at this time.
🚨 | West Ham are at present looking likely to change their initial stance & retain Nuno Espírito Santo as manager, it’s been reported by ExWHUEmployee

Relegation itself isn’t a remarkable moment in West Ham’s history. It’s happened many times and they’ve recovered. The difference this time is it’s happened in that awful stadium. Identity stripped away for nothing
Multiple challenges going on in the same incident, and just chose the one they wanted. Clear and obvious? Where’s our penalty then. Give the goal and move on. Pathetic
The game’s gone.
VAR and referees deciding matches every single week. A last minute winner ruled out for a “foul” that took 5 minutes to find. Nobody in the stadium had a clue what was happening.
Modern football is becoming unwatchable. The sport has never felt more ruined

SPOT THE DIFFERENCE 🧐
@premierleague have changed their "estimated" TV fixture release date without communicating that to supporters. 400,000+ matchgoers left in the dark.
Not good enough on TV KOs - again.
Happy retirement to the most talented player I’ve ever seen at West Ham by some distance. Still not forgiven for breaking thousands of hearts but those skills will never be forgotten 🔥
