I’m now very confident that Villa needs to sell players before 30 June.

Their settlement with Uefa permits a maximum “Football earnings” loss of €60m this financial year, ending 30 June.

Last year (24/25), it was about a €115m loss despite having €75m in player disposal profits and €80m in UCL revenues (vs €35m in Europa revenues this year).

So far, they have about €75m or under in player profits this year.

They will have benefitted from more PL and commercial revenues… but their current position will still easily be €50m+ above the maximum permitted loss.

Not saying it will have to be Rogers that is sold before 30 June. But they’re going to have to sell some players before then.
