Over the past two weekends I played my first three tournaments of the summer! In 5 rounds I had a 76.4 scoring average, 13 birdies, and 2 eagles. Placed T-10/40, T-27/110, and T-11/53. Up next is the US Junior Am qualifier in Williamsburg.

Last week I played in the VHSL Class 3 state championship! I struggled a little on the greens, and shot a 78 to come T-20. Not quite what I was hoping for to end this great season, but a solid finish nonetheless.

I finished 5th in regionals on Tuesday with a 75, and won a playoff to qualify for the state tournament as an individual. Sadly, the Kettle Run golf team missed out, but @BrianSlaught24 came 4th and will be joining me in Williamsburg!

The KRHS golf team won the district tournament yesterday with a score of 300! I shot 74, coming 4th, and my teammates Nic Atkins (T-5) and @BrianSlaught24 (T-1, congratulations!) also medaled. Next up for high school is our chance to make states on Tuesday at regionals.

Last weekend I finished T-4 in the HJGT tournament at Gauntlet GC. After a wild first day, which included an eagle and a quad on the way to a 79, I shot my lowest tournament round ever with a 71 (-1)! I followed that up with a 36 (+2) to come T-1 in my high school match Monday.

The past two Mondays the KRHS golf team played in two more tournaments, and won both. In the first I shot 73 and came T-2. Yesterday, I shot the lowest round of the year so far with a 72, and also notched my first win of the season.

@kettlerunsports golf team played in 3 more tournaments the last 6 days, finishing 6th of 33 once and winning the others. I shot 75, 39, and 77, placing T-16, T-3, and T-3. A solid start to high school season and some great team wins.

Over the last three days I played in a @HJGT event followed by the first school event of the year! Struggled Saturday, but bounced back with a 77 Sunday to come T-10. Today I shot 75, coming T-4, and the KRHS golf team won the tournament with a score of 300!

Yesterday concluded a five day stretch of tournament golf for me! I played steadily and had some solid scores in the 70s at the VSGA Junior Stroke Play Qualifier, Trevor Times Memorial Invitational, and Bobby Bowers Memorial Tournament.

I played in the VSGA junior event @ Augustine on Tuesday and shot an 81 to come T-5! Had a very slow start but got some birdies down the stretch to post a solid score.

Finished T-15 at the Notah Begay III qualifier at Shenandoah Valley this weekend. Had a solid tournament and shot a pair of 77s.

Came 8th @HJGT Kingsmill this weekend. A wild finish Sunday, including 3 birdies on my last 5 holes, helped me finish at +13 overall with two rounds in the 70s.

Finished T-13 @HJGT Bowling Green this weekend. First tournament since March, and had a rough time. A lot of ups and downs, but now it’s time to lock in for the next one.
