A match I’ll never remember followed by experiences I will never forget. 40 years ago my Dad took me to Roots Hall, still go to this day together, nephew joined us in 2006. Don’t tell me footballs just a game. It’s family. It’s memories. It’s everything @SUFCRootsHall
If COSU don't throw the kitchen sink at the transfers then I don't know if I have much trust in them to get us up the League(s).
Next season, with the teams in the NL, is our BEST chance by FAR to get back into the EFL.
We’ve come a long way in a short space of time to experience days like yesterday.
While it hurts now, we’ll rest, regroup and then build on the foundations that have been laid this season.
This club has fought through so much adversity and always comes back stronger.
🦐💙
Back in August 2023, our fans spent hours cleaning Roots Hall, not knowing if we would have a club to watch that season…
672 days later, we fought for promotion in a NL play-off final.
It may not have gone our way, but today we can all be immensely proud to be a Shrimper 🔵⚽️
Point deductions, £1m bond, double punishments, no FA Cup replays, midweek playoff games and now limiting our allocation for our biggest game in 10 years.
You tried your best @TheVanaramaNL but we're still here. Kev's pre match talk will be one for the ages.
Embarrassing statement yet again by the @TheVanaramaNL - looking to place blame elsewhere but their own front door.
Disgusting management of the biggest and potentially record breaking day for the league and who pays the price yet again, the fans and the clubs.
#southend#nlpo
Incredible work yet again by the club - keep pushing, showing the @TheVanaramaNL how the league should be managed as they clearly can’t!
A club on the brink of existence last year, and a demand for over 35k at Wembley - simply incredible.

ℹ️ Latest Promotion Final Ticket Update:
We have now received confirmation from Wembley Stadium that the enhancements to the rail services into Wembley Central and Wembley Stadium will enable the capacity for our promotion final to be increased to 48,000.
That will increase our allocation to 21,500 plus tickets sold with coach packages.
Please note these additional numbers need to be released in two tranches (due to some coding requirements that Wembley need to undertake). The first tranche has been released already, the second tranche will be release tomorrow - we will give some notice in relation to that.
At the time of writing this statement we have about 5,000 tickets to sell (over two tranches), yet we have 600 supporters queuing in the car park and 8,000 queuing online.
We are confident we could sell in excess of 35,000, so whilst we are pleased with the progress that has been made, we are still pushing all stakeholders to think creatively and to find solutions that can safely increase the capacity further.
For me the @TheVanaramaNL FA and Wembley have failed two clubs by this decision to cap tickets to 17,500 each.
You had the chance to break records with the attendance for the final.
You’ve known about this for a while and now you’ve made this silly decision.
Maybe you was banking on forest green getting to the final.
So disappointing and for the fans of these clubs it certainly will be.
