@HsuStem A4: I'm not sure what would work, but something I think would definitely not work is trying to communicate with parents through students. Especially for younger students, any information sent home will likely be lost or forgotten.

@HsuStem A3: I think traditional rules such as showing up to class on time and being "present" having been less enforced. Students are given extra time to login due to internet issues, which is reasonable.

@blaunius @HsuStem I would agree that one benefit of being in a virtual setting is that students can go back and watch their professors recorded lectures. This allows them to learn from anywhere like you said and stay up to date in class. #HsuStem

@blaunius @HsuStem I have been dealing with that issue this semester as well. Having audio problems, especially lag, makes learning tough. I think overall, virtual learning takes more time due to the reasons you mentioned.

@HsuStem A1:Something that teachers can do to ensure students are collaborating and active is establishing virtual norms, such as having you camera and microphone on. Teachers can also use Zoom's breakout room tool to allow student to work in groups and collaborate that way. #HsuStem
