��Mr. Zarate has helped me feel apart of the Jacobs Community because he is always there to help and he pushes all of his students to do their best. He keeps an upbeat classroom all the time and never fails to keep a smile on his students’ faces.”
“As the only black student in the class, Mr. Stukenberg has always ensured I felt comfortable & safe discussing certain topics & opinions. When he reached out to my family & I, it meant alot bc I’ve never had a teacher recognize things like that & make sure I feel comfortable.”
Ms. O’Hara: “I really like having someone at school that I can share how my day has been with. She is always super nice and it’s great seeing her everyday.”
“When I was younger Ms. Krepel helped me I needed it the most. She gave me the strength to no give up on anything and find a way to push through things even if I did not know what I was doing.”
“Ms. Lotzer has helped me feel included in the Jacobs family because she is a great teacher that teaches well and listens to the students and makes the effort to ensure everyone is doing their best to succeed in class.”
Mr. Lepkowski: “Leppy has been really@good about understanding students busy lives and accommodating for them. also he has been giving out life advice which has definitely helped me.”
“Ms. Keely was very kind in asking her students their preferred name and pronouns and being sure to use them correctly. She is the only teacher who changed my name on the attendance, the only one to address the code red and offer bell, & be genuinely supportive of her students.”
“Mrs. Kapitan made an effort to help everyone feel included. She regularly check in on everyone’s mental health and made the classroom a welcoming and inviting space to learn.”
Mr. Jolley: “Well I feel like he’s the teacher that cares the most about his students mental health and overall well-being. He always lets us know about any after school activities that he runs or is apart of, if we would like to join.”
“She is extremely accommodating and creates a great class environment. Mrs. Ingold is as strong teacher and a great overall person. She is one of the people at Jacobs I look up to.”
