Broncos QB Bo Nix, on the state of his ankle and his recovery and return from the injury: "Let me see how to explain this: I've told y'all several times I'm all the way back. I feel really good. ... But I think when you go back and you look at a whole -- when you start from scratch in the offseason, when you go all the way back and you re-do it and you get ready for what is coming up in February, you're training looks like, sort of like a mountain. You're gonna climb and you're gonna peak at some point. I don't wanna be peaking until the playoffs. I don't want to be peaking at my best (until then) because you can't hold it the whole entire season. If you look at a training block, if you look at physical preparation, the guys that can build and grow and get to the peak -- which is the playoffs -- December, January, February, if you can get to that point and you can hold it, you'll feel really good and so, right now, it's like my freshman year in high school. I wouldn't say Week 4, was I exactly what I was Week 14 going into the semifinals and about to play for the state championship. My third year at Auburn, I would say the same thing -- I was peaking, and then unfortunately, I did get hurt at the end of the year. But for me, it's all about what's next, and for right now, we're in Week 6 going on 7. I feel as good as I've felt -- actually, I just spoke to our strength coach, I'm hitting better speeds than I have since being here. So, maybe I should have said that; that would have answered your question pretty easily. But I feel great and I think it's just important y'all understand the process of what it's actually like to go through the season getting your body ready for a 21-, 22-week season where you're playing elite teams week after week. So, I feel great, and I feel like each week I'm gonna continue to get better and better, and I'm exactly where I want to be."
Wow. Much respect to #Titans HC Robert Saleh for explaining the DT Jordan Elliott gun situation.
“My message to 31 other teams: If you need a hell of a run-stopping D-tackle that can help on a playoff run, give me a call. I'll tell you everything you need to know about him. He’s a good man. Had a terrible lapse in judgment. I recognize it as a call for help. Not a criminal act.”

The Denver Broncos have played the toughest schedule in the NFL so far and are 4-2. From Sharp Football 5 of 6 games were against tough opponents. No other team has 4 of 5 or 5 of 6 tough opponents so far https://t.co/mdRoj62aFm
@henrycmckenna I'm hesitant to agree that an absence of middle-of-the field throws and throws beyond ten yards is "an absence of guts". There are a lot of factors at play and that seems like an oversimplification.
The proof that he's holding back is in his play style, not his pass chart
@IamIsaiahJM@chargers I never really had a problem with chargers fans, especially compared to raiders and chiefs. But it seems like chargers fans hate us with a burning passion. Haha
@SayreBedinger@jason_bonney12 I don't know how much walker does for us without a serious turnaround in performance by our OL. Run blocking seems to be seriously lacking.
