News we have been wanting to share but have had to work silently behind-the-scenes to ensure the safety of this boy.

We were contacted by Georgie Wright who found this handsome lad tied to a post in Essex and ask for our assistance in saving him after he unfortunately ended up in the hands of waltham Forest Dog Warden, a.k.a. the Dog team!

A warden (who is clearly not able to type ) decided to type the dog as pitbull, after hearing this , we immediately contacted our legal support and insured that this dog was not destroyed after seven days.

Georgie Wright was prepared to go all the way to save this lad even if it ended up in court!

Dogs on the streets contacted Essex police and requested a DLO to assess the Dog in which they kindly did , our legal team also sent a legal letter to Essex police and thankfully did not type VON ,so he was free to go, however, Waltham Forest Wardens knowing that the finder wished to home were not as cooperative as we had hoped and delayed the release of Von.

A legal letter was then sent to them to remind them of keepers rights.
They still did not cooperate and sent the dog out to a rescue that we were able to contact and today myself from dogs on the streets along with the Finder went and collected him.

We were astonished at how underweight possibly losing up to half of his bodyweight and condition he was in after being in the Wardens care.

Services should be working together to save dogs and especially if there’s recognised charities that can help support and rehome. Through the neglect of them wanting to work with anybody this is cost DOTS £460 in legal fees because the warden did not want to engage and cooperate and potentially save the life of this dog, and also other shocking unprofessional info that we cannot disclose at this point has come away regarding this case.

Also an added huge thank you also to all those that were involved in helping this boy live his life.
He is now safe and cared for in our care and we are building his confidence, his weight and his trust up and he will be micro chipped and castrated in the next week and rehomed!

Such a happy ending for all those that wanted to work as a team, for Von!
