@AP_Trevor Those estimates of score distribution don’t look like the scores from other tests this year where 40-50%+ got 1s and 2s. Kids are being sold AP classes as college level classes but then aren’t getting college credit for them due to the exam difficulty. DE classes for the win now.

These students started high school virtually and missed out on so many critical foundational lessons and skills.

Seeing scores like these, it is obvious the entire AP program really needs to be reviewed. The kind of students who take AP classes are not the kind who usually fail exams. Yet in this example, 52% did not pass and another 22% may find their university won’t accept a score of 3.

@AP_Trevor More than half did not pass? There is clearly a problem here. The caliber of students who typically take AP classes are not the kind of students who fail exams. The curriculum and/or the AP exam need to be reviewed and revised. What a shame so many won’t get college credit.
