I have been working in the industry for more than 2 decades and I haven’t seen or felt this kind of issue drain the hell out of me - Partida, lakas pa ng politika sa industriya ah. Ang mga issue hindi lang sumusulpot left and right, front and back pa and if hindi ka matapang, they will eat you alive.

I never felt the need to engage. Never followed or fangirled any artist. Not until Paulo and Kim.

Pero grabe nga talaga ang toxicity sa fandom na ‘to. Mapa-solid P, solid K, solid KP. Nakaka-sad isipin na within the same fandom ang dami hihila sa’yo pababa. Sila pa unang mag-judge syo without knowing who you really are. What’s worse is they will also come at you on a personal level and will also incriminate the mains.

Fandoms are supposed to unite people, not tear them apart hence Paulo created the DC channel for all of us to have a safe space pero hanggang doon, nagawan pa din ng issue.

Know when to stop. Know when it is time to just keep quiet. Know inside you when what you do or say already harm other people.

This goes for everybody. Know when enough is enough.
