#The Power of Words

When I first saw the characters 無間道 (Infernal Affairs), I could not figure out their meaning.
The movie began with a script of the Nirvana Sutra. In a flash, I comprehended the meaning of 無間道 as if the Sanskrit were in flames.

Last night, I watched The Road, a 2009 film. A surreal desolated human existence, yet, a sense of realism hung in the air. Today, I volunteered at a Lunar New Year event. The colors, the sounds, and people's cheer contrary to The Road, I treasure all living things more than ever.
