A FIRST-TIMER’S GUIDE TO THE REBOOT CAMP
If this year’s edition of The Reboot Camp will be your first, I want to commend and congratulate you because you are set for a life-changing encounter!
While you wait for the opening night of The Reboot Camp on the 14th of December, I want to prepare your mind by telling you what to expect and how you can prepare.
First, it is important to prepare prayerfully. We are currently on a 14-day fast in preparation for The Reboot Camp, and we pray together daily by 6PM. Do well to join us.
Ensure that you arrive early for all sessions, and be seated at least 15 minutes before each session starts.
Lodging close to the venue will help you arrive early. Make plans for your transportation as well. Heed the instructions of the ushers as they guide and direct you.
Plan to attend all six sessions throughout the three days. No two sessions are the same–each has its own uniqueness.
Limit distractions while you are at the venue. Pray and prepare your heart as you wait for each session to start.
In all sessions, the word of God will be taught. Come along with a physical Bible if that’s your preference. It is advisable to take notes on a notepad; however, your mobile device will also suffice. Just be sure to shut out distractions by turning your notifications off.
The morning sessions start as early as 6AM, and we will be praying for a long stretch of time.
For this reason, I suggest you come in comfortable clothing and shoes, as well as a water bottle to keep yourself hydrated throughout the session.
If this will be your first time praying for long, there’s nothing to be worried about! The Bible says “Those who wait upon the Lord will renew their strength.” Meaning, although you might feel physically tired, strength will well up from within to carry on.
On the final day, we will be having an impartation session. As you pray ahead of this session, prepare your heart to receive, because after the impartation, you will be empowered to step into the next phase of God’s purpose for your life.
The Reboot Camp is now just 7 days away!
If you are ready, comment “I am ready!”
WHY AMBIENCE?
The theme of this years Reboot Camp is:
AMBIENCE - Manifesting the presence of God
You might be wondering, “Why ambience?”
When the bible uses the term “the presence of God”, there are three things it could be referring to:
The first is the “Omnipresence of God”
This means God is everywhere at once.
David describing this said “Where can I go from Your Spirit? Or where can I flee from Your presence? If I ascend into heaven, You are there; If I make my bed in hell, behold, You are there.” (Psalm 139:7-8)
The second is the “Indwelling presence of God”
The is exclusive to the believer in Christ. It refers to us receiving the Holy Spirit at salvation.
The third is the “Manifest presence of God”
Whilst God is everywhere at once, based on his Omnipresence, He doesn't manifest everywhere.
This is why Jacob could say “God was here and i did not know” (Genesis 28:16).
He knew God was Omnipresent, but at a point in time, God chose to make his presence manifest in certain place.
As a believer in Christ, not only are you to be familiar with the indwelling presence of God in you, but because God lives in you, His presence can be manifest through you as well.
The Psalms let us know that because God dwelt in the midst of the Israelites, the sea saw it and fled, the Jordan was turned back and even the mountains skipped like rams (Psalm 114:1-4).
Through the manifest presence of God, you can experience tangible miracles often.
It isn’t exclusive to Men of God alone, you also can be a carrier of God’s presence!
This is what God wants to do at this years Reboot Camp, He wants you to be an envoy of his ambience!
Are you ready??
I just want to say that as many of us are at the age where we are starting to become the in-laws, pls endeavour to treat the women marrying into your families like human beings that deserve respect.
You people can drag me if you want oh but Nigeria has more accessible healthcare than Uk. We just don’t have structure and resources
Uk has everything and they will still kill you, how can someone be in pain and ambulance is taking 5hrs to come and God help you, you take yourself to A&E you will sit for another 2hrs that is if they don’t send you to urgent care to sit for another 3hrs
You go to your Gp complain about something that needs urgent attention they will give you a referral 3 months after. Abeg Abeg
I want to beg you, DO NOT MISS CHURCH TOMORROW!
Research has it that about 60-80% of hospital visits are stress and anxiety related.
This goes to show how urgent tomorrow's teaching is.
I want to train you on how to handle fear and anxiety by the word of God.
Join me 9am @cci_lagosisland and 10:30am @cci_ikeja
Remember to invite someone.
See you in church!
