HE WAS WRONG. People DO want to play a version of WoW that returns to its original design philosophies.

Another fan replies "This is intentionally inconvineint because (enter reason)"

and then a devs like "Yep, that is 100% the reason we leave this, gotta maintain some friction"

This is actually true tho, the WoW devs refer to 'intentional inconvenience' as "friction" and its important to thier design philosophy of what makes WoW Forever work.

Yep, this. This is one of those things that we simply must hold the line on. I think there are other things we can do to help alleviate some frustration here but shared tagging is not it.

It’s hard to see the value in something like this when you are frustrated in the moment but it is extremely important to our social pillar to maintain some of this friction.

@Pyrogar1 That would be cool but I don't see it happening due to WoW. Maybe if Warcraft stayed as a smaller scale RTS game.

The only way to do it now is to make the 'real' lore come from books etc with the games just being thier own thing.

StarCraft was THE game that got me into gaming. I'd sit behind him and watch him play over his shoulder. I loved SC and devoured every RTS I could get my hands on.

Yes, she is dressed like she is doing satire, but i mean, the content of what she was actually saying shows shes passionate about making a great game.
