Today is Semplice’ birthday.

12 years ago to this day a French designer purchased the very first Semplice license. Ever since, we celebrate this as our official birthday.

https://t.co/9p1tL17ohM was the first portfolio system for designers that allowed them to design and build in-depth custom case studies for their portfolio.

It was one of the first builders that allowed a feature rich drag and drop visual editor which is now standard for all web builders (most others had rigid templates at the time).

Over the last decade Semplice attracted some of the finest creatives in the world. In fact, many of the designers I looked up to since the early days eventually built on Semplice… once of my proudest moments (:

A lot has changed over those 12 years, but I’m still proud of what we’ve built, in particular the community around it.
