Large hail, damaging winds, and tornadoes are all possible with storms that develop.

NEW: Severe Thunderstorm Watch issued for portions of SE South Dakota, SW Minnesota, NW Iowa, and NE Nebraska until 10 PM CDT Monday.

Main threats with storms within this watch includes:
- Large hail up to 2.5”
- Damaging wind gusts up to 70 MPH
- An isolated tornado or two

Cold weather alerts have been issued for Thursday evening through Friday afternoon across South Dakota, Minnesota, and Iowa. Dangerous wind chill values of -30 to -40 are possible on Friday morning. Frostbite could occur on exposed skin in under 10 minutes!🥶
