@Balurion2@artoriasaber029@ZeroSilver18 (This is a generalizing hyperbole that encompasses other directors, even I don’t consider either S3 or this scene to be “derivative dogshit”)
@Itay20052@IdkNtm1 It’s precisely the fact that they’re just plausible *excuses* though. It takes you out of it in the sense that you see the invisible hand of the author making sure all these characters around the MC remain recognizable and marketable.
men r so obsessed with knowledge checks over actually trying to understand the themes, morals, emotional depth, etc. of a work it's always pissed me off like who gives a fuck
The backrooms being something that takes from existing things, doesn't understand any of it, then feeds itself with the same thing over and over until it all starts to become unstable with that yellow tint? You couldn't make a better analogy for ai if you wanted to 😭
@artoriasaber029@ZeroSilver18 “You don’t understand, it’s industry practice that it’s derivative dogshit most of the time, unless you’re watching an actually well-directed anime where the directors are more involved!” do you hear yourself?
@dumbhimejoshi This is not being an advocate though. You’re just finding a moral ground against those who may like a slop ship more than your own slop ship. You can just say it’s trash!
