Thread: Fresh data from United Oil & Gas just lit up Jamaica’s offshore oil story – here’s what the April 8 update really means for us, the money, and our beaches.
1/11 United Oil & Gas (AIM: UOG) released results from the piston-core survey they ran late last year over the huge Walton-Morant licence, 22,400 km² of deep water south of Jamaica. They took 42 samples from the seabed and analysed the gas trapped in them. Key finding: several cores showed butane and pentane (C4 and C5 hydrocarbons). These are “heavier” molecules you don’t usually get from shallow rotting plants – they point to thermogenic oil cooked deep underground and migrating up.
It took me 1 hour i.e. 60 minutes of waiting to speak to a Flow Customer Service Agent today @FLOWJamaica. Also, I have been waiting on #PricesmartJamaica since Sunday to contact me regarding an issue I reported...Imma need a bottle of coconut water for my blood pressure.

Such an inspiring tribute to Jamaica. 🇯🇲
