One of the saddest feelings I’ve ever experienced is the feeling of not belonging anywhere. I’ve often felt like there’s no place for me in this world, like I’m always a little out of place, even in rooms full of people. Like everyone else has found their people, their place and their purpose, while I’m still trying to figure out where I fit. It’s a strange kind of loneliness because you can have people around you and still feel like nobody truly sees you or understands the way you experience the world. You can be included without feeling like you belong, loved without feeling understood and surrounded by people while still feeling completely alone. I wonder if there’s a place where I won’t have to try so hard to fit in, where I can simply exist as I am and feel accepted without having to explain myself. Maybe what hurts most isn’t being alone. It’s wanting to feel like you belong somewhere and not knowing where that place is.
Woke up with a grateful heart. God has been good to me in ways I don’t even deserve. Life isn’t all good, but it isn’t all bad either. Through it all, I’m thankful. Thank You, Lord!
“I would kill for you.” “I would die for you.”
Yeah, well, I would heal for you. I’d unlearn my toxic patterns, face my wounds, and become a healthier person so my love doesn’t hurt you.
I believe sometimes God gets you ready for what you prayed for by taking you through things you never would’ve chosen. Your comfort gets shaken, your patience gets tested, and your faith has to hold you through seasons when you feel alone. Before that blessing comes. 🤍
