Was impressed with 25’s Jaice Martabano (@TrinityPawling) and Colmn Gilroy (@DarrowHoops) yesterday.
Martabano is a pass-first guard that did a great job moving the ball + attacking lanes. Gilroy’s post scoring and PnR defense also stood out.

Trinity Pawling (NY) (2025) 6’2 Guard Jaice Martabano (@Jaice_mig) The 6’2 combo guard is a natural scorer who helped his team get a win vs masters as he scored 21 points. Jaice knocked down threes, mid ranges and thrived at getting to the rim and finishing with ease, making tough layups look simple. While his skill set resembles that of a wing, his size matches a point guard, allowing him to play multiple positions. As a scoring threat with high iq he was able to set up his teammates for easy opportunities. One of the best available combo guards still available. @NEPrepBB@NEPrepHoopsPoll@PrepNational@NERRHoops@tariksmith5@RecruitTheBronx
Jaice Martabano of @TrinityPawling had a big 21 point performance today. He knocked down a lot of high level shots and was a problem on defense adding 2 steals and a block.

Jaice Martabano ('25) is a 6-2 guard with strong ball-handling skills, good court vision, and a quick first step. He has a smooth shooting stroke and can score from all three levels.
