Democracy assumes a fair understanding of politics by common man…வயது மட்டுமே வாக்களிக்கும் தகுதியாக இருக்கக்கூடாது…how about 10 hours/year of field volunteering to retain the voting right? Without socialising in real world, citizens cannot understand the nuances of government
If I wanted I would have donated cash to poor myself, why would I pay tax for government to give freebies and cash…I want government to uplift them with tax money with opportunities and not keep them permanently poor with freebies…#voteagainstfreebies
A banner highlighting achievements, featuring the photograph of CM #MKStalin and put up by Tiruchengode MLA and Kongunadu Makkal Desiya Katchi leader E.R Eeswaran in the Kalipatti area of #Namakkal district, collapsed and fell on a school student named Dharani. The student sustained serious injuries in the incident.
Tax doesn’t pain me…but the way it is wasted, looted and spent inefficiently does…Each of us pay several thousands and lakhs in tax equivalent to that of developed countries, but receive the service of third world countries…
@ChennaiTraffic @chennaicorp these thorny bushes outgrowing and posing threat to motorists from under Velachery bus stand flyover…please get these trimmed and maintained

3 different sanitation workers in TN returned gold/items worth rs. 1 cr to owners in last 1 month...if only all IAS, IPS, bureaucrats and political personalities in India had this kind of integrity that others' asset is not ours, we would be a developed nation soon
The train is spotlessly clean, yet this man proudly displays zero civic sense 🤡 by throwing peanut shells on the floor and turning the coach into a dustbin.
This is the exact mentality that keeps India struggling.
The Railways clean the trains again and again and people like these destroy it within minutes.
What else can the Railways possibly do?
For such behavior, strict enforcement and heavy fines are the only solutions.
Public places are not your personal garbage bin.
Keep them clean the way you keep your own home clean.
🛑 Clean India is impossible until mindsets are cleaned first.
Freebies are indicators of bad governance and society…A self-respecting society forms government that provides opportunities and services for uplifting the livelihood forever and not temporary cash to remain underprivileged forever!
By not only rejecting cash for vote but also not voting for the parties that indulge in cash/freebies, we can enable much bigger progress and people upliftment than cheap cash and freebies! (2/2)
Sub-standard public work or service by a contractor cannot be questioned by a corrupt officer, who cannot be questioned by a corrupt politician, who in-turn cannot be questioned by a corrupt voter…the clean-up starts with us…(1/2)
A foreigner has dedicated himself to promoting civic sense among those who litter in India. He says, ‘Cleaning India is not just a physical job; it’s a mental (mindset) problem.’ What do you think drives people to litter on the streets?
One more exhibition that dustbins are not the problem. Its laziness and "someone else will clean it" mindset. This happens at home too. How do you even cure this? 🤦😮💨

@cmrlofficial why are we not penalising illegal posters on metro pillars? Why are we using taxpayers hard earned money to clean up instead of not getting the penalty from offenders? Why are innocent taxpayers burdened for offenders wrongdoing?
