And we're live!
ABA services for youth and adults with a developmental disability diagnosis.
Check out https://t.co/Lh15ps2JgQ, let's see if I can help you or your loved one!
Both are important to the primary purpose of regulation, which is public protection. Don't be fooled by the few who are spreading misinformation. Regulation under the law is better for service recipients than voluntary certification. BUT it is a change and change can be hard.
NEWS: @CPOntario has posted revised Standards of Professional Conduct that includes Behaviour Analysis.
These make clear that a) the tiered supervision model is supported and b) supervisors are responsible for services delivered by their supervisees.#ABA

@ontariobcbeh@TheDaily_BA Interesting take. Pretty sure both of the universities currently providing ABA programs would qualify for accreditation. The only one that wouldn't is the M. ADS program because it's course based
@TheDaily_BA Misread your post. You're absolutely right.
With that being said though, a lot of programs are still being excluded from accreditation because of their format. Such as not requiring a thesis and being course based. APBA helps with that
@blakeandersonj@ETFOeducators Agreed. Children should NEVER be taught to be critical thinkers, especially about how heir environment impacts others. They should also never be taught to love other humans, regardless of their personal beliefs. We're getting out of hand here. Next we'll be using arabic numerals
@AmandaFewless@bennyjohnson "I am in no way racist" are the famous last words of all people holding racists views.
And yes. There are things that you can do to help the "ghetto Blacks". Start by looking at the systems that your similarly non-racist white ancestors created to work against ppl of colour
Wonderful opportunity for trainees (across Canada!) to gain valuable perspective (from multiple disciplines!) on how to support the needs of adults with #differentabilities (and their #caregivers) while also supporting research (on an important topic). #DevelopmentalDisabilities
Excited to hear about @Alina_Cameron being chosen as president for @OntAutism. Looking forward to the advocacy efforts that the group continues.
She's already hard at work!

@BOS02860725@Delta56ca @KatSpeaksNB Ur argumentative fallacies are unreal. I want u to look at my OG comment. Was that the only reason I gave for not allowing the flag? You agreed that germs can be spread through touch, so my statement was also accurate. Lastly the flag was allowed. So it really wasn't a big deal
@BOS02860725@Delta56ca @KatSpeaksNB LOL! U know U engaged w/ me? No1 "came at u, bro".
I nvr claimed to be an expert in the spread of germs, that's something u said. All I did was say "100s of ppl touching the same thing & being covered by it for a period of time is a good way to spread germs".
@BOS02860725@Delta56ca @KatSpeaksNB I'm not. I said spread of germs in general. You brought up aerosol specifically so I asked. Answer the question. Would that scenario in a hockey rink increase or decrease the likelyhood of germs spreading? Aerosol and non aerosol
@BOS02860725@Delta56ca @KatSpeaksNB I said it spreads germs in general. Not just COVID germs. But germs. You came in swinging your MD around talking about mortality rate as if that matter when it comes to the spread of germs. Red herring. Stay on topic.
@BOS02860725@Delta56ca @KatSpeaksNB Did I ever say that? Or did I say that one can get basic information from scientific sources? Like mentioned before, I'm not diagnosing or treating illness. I'm commenting on why a 20x40ft flag may have been banned.
@BOS02860725@Delta56ca @KatSpeaksNB So again my question... People covered by a 20x40ft flag... Breathing for probably about a minute under it... Increase or decrease of aerosol spray contact?
