🎤 And what about you, Keng? In what ways do you think you’ve changed this year?

🦆 Actually, we share a lot of things with each other. This year, I feel like I’ve become more of a giver, which is something I’ve learned from Namping from the very beginning up until now.

🦆 I care more about the feelings of the people around me, paying attention, observing how they’re doing, noticing the details even if I don’t always step in to talk that much.

🦆 As for myself, compared to when I first entered the industry, I feel that in order to grow, I need to be brave enough to respect my own choices and decisions, whether they turn out well or not. That’s how I get to know myself and learn from my own mistakes.

🦆 In the past, I wasn’t confident or clear about who I was. I didn’t dare to make decisions even simple things like choosing outfits, buying things, or picking songs to sing.

🦆 Especially at work, I rarely trusted my own instincts. I would constantly ask seniors what they thought, whether something was good or not, until sometimes there was nothing of me left in it at all.

🦆 I didn’t really know myself. It felt like it was time to turn back and look at myself more, because no one can support me for our entire lives.

🦆 I have to be brave enough to do some things for myself and for the people I love, brave enough to decide, brave enough to jump into things without knowing what will happen.

🦆 At the same time, I’ve learned to let go more. I’m not as afraid of making mistakes as I used to be, because in the end, there are things I simply can’t control. All I can do is learn to accept them.

🎤 Now that you understand yourself better, how would you define yourself?

🦆 I’d define myself as being like water and oil. In the past, I felt like I was water, if you added any color to it, I would immediately become that color.

🦆 But as I’ve grown, I’ve realized that I also have my own space. At the same time, I can still stay with others. It’s like water and oil existing together, just in separate layers. It doesn’t mean that I can’t be with anyone at all.
