A man walks toward a barbershop and opens the door
Instead of walking in, he just sticks his head through the door and asks, “How long before I can get a haircut?”
The barber looks around the crowded shop and replies, “About three hours.”
The man leaves the shop. He returns a few days later, sticks his head in, and asks the same question from before.
The barber looks around and says, “About two hours.”
The man leaves. A few days later the same man returns and again asks the same question.
The barber looks around and says, “About an hour and a half.”
The man leaves. The barber turns to his friend and says, “Hey, do me a favor and follow that guy and see where he goes every few days. He just asks how long before he can get a haircut and never gets one. He just leaves.”
The friend returns after a while laughing hysterically. The barber asks his friend, “So where does the guy go when he leaves?”
The friend wipes tears from his eyes and says, “Your house!”
