Both are good people who struggled forming relationships due to their pasts and traumas. They made mistakes, they learned, they grew.
They are BOTH good people who deserve love and happiness. And each other EQUALLY

The story of Tom and Jake is one of two people who have struggled and learning to go past those issues in order to grow together. Idc what you think but Tom isn't a monster. You made up something and are just trying to justify your horrible thoughts. Stop babying Jake too. I'm a Jake fan but my god I know when he fucks up and can call him out.

The decision to go back to Tom was Jake's, the decision to forgive him was also Jake's. He is his own person and can make his own reasoning.
