I always wanted a fire nation season where Mako gets some development and learns stronger lightning from the fire princess or something (and they then explain the difference and story behind its now widespread use)

Everyone also blatantly ignoring the fact that Mako’s lightning is SIGNIFICANTLY weaker than ATLA lightning. Almost as if to show that the widespread use of it does not equate it to the skills and use of it from the first show.
