This Wrexham advert ahead of facing Southampton this weekend is absolutely BRUTAL. 😭
Southampton were kicked out of last season’s Championship play-offs for spying… and Wrexham finished SEVENTH — just one place outside them. 🐲💀
Over 9 years ago Garry Monk’s Leeds United beat Brighton 2-0 in the Championship thanks to a Chris Wood brace.

One thing I think Leeds fans should understand about Paraag Marathe from someone who watched him with the 49ers for years…
This is what the guy does.
Before moving on from the 49ers this year to focus on Leeds and the football side of the business, Paraag spent 25 years in San Francisco. A huge part of his reputation was contracts, negotiations and figuring out how to keep a talented roster together without destroying the finances.
He wasn’t the guy scouting the players. He was the guy sitting across the table when it was time to figure out how the hell we were going to afford them.
And he is VERY patient.
Sometimes painfully patient.
There were plenty of times as a 49ers fan where negotiations dragged on and you wanted to scream JUST PAY THE FUCKING GUY PARAAG.
That’s probably the part Leeds fans are eventually going to hate 😂
But watching how Leeds handled this window reminded me why he became so valuable in San Francisco.
He’ll wait. He’ll structure things creatively. He’ll negotiate until the end. And he usually seems to know exactly where his line is.
Now he’s taken 25 years of doing that with the 49ers and made Leeds his full-time job.
As a fan of both teams that’s probably one of the things I’m most excited about.
You guys are starting to see the Paraag I grew up watching work.

@Kershaw444 Nottingham born and bred Leeds fan here - Forest are no joke. We did well to come away with a result as they're a bit of a bogey team for us
