I DON’T KNOW SHIT ABOUT BASKETBALL BUT THE HUSKERS JUST TOOK DOWN MICHIGAN STATE & REMAIN UNDEFEATED
@HUSKERMBB CONTINUING TO MAKE SCHOOL HISTORY
14-0!!! 🌽🌽🌽
No one should misunderstand the frustration after last night. This isn’t about hating the program — it’s about expectations. Nebraska football is a business at this level, and the product hasn’t matched what was promised through Year 3.
Fans love this team. That’s exactly why they’ve been sounding alarms early on key areas like QB stability, offensive identity, offensive line development, defensive consistency, pass rush, and special teams execution and in many ways those concerns eventually showed up on the field. Add in constant staff turnover, a star QB departure, and another 7 win finish, and it’s fair to say the margin for patience is getting thin.
Year 4 is going to be tough. The schedule is brutal. The excuses are gone. Nebraska needs the right players, the right leadership, and a clear, disciplined plan if this thing is finally going to turn the corner.
Everyone wants the same outcome: Nebraska back where it belongs. But it has to be earned now.
I think most Huskers fans came into this game with pretty low expectations. Utah is a very good team.
But man this is way worse than I thought it would go.
Emmett Johnson finishes the 2025 season
1,451 Rushing Yards 5.8 YPC 12 TDs
370 Receiving Yards 8.0 YPC 3 TDs
1,821 All Purpose Yards doesn’t even get you to a Doak Walker finalist. Absolute disservice to College Football.
Nebraska didn't play a single team that is going to the CFB Playoff and still got blown out 3 times.
The schedule could not have been set up any better for us and we whiffed again. So much pain. Every year.
