Because of a lack of acceptance where I live and work. So please be mindful of exclusive behaviors in what should be, accepting and inclusive spaces. 2/2
Apparently, there's discourse around bi women bringing straight boyfriends to Pride events. As somebody who "looks" like a straight man, I am still very much a bi person who struggled to let myself come out publicly for fear of rejection. I still dress and present "straight" 1/2
@XanatuVPR I wasn't able to watch it all due to time difference, but I thought your casting was great! Very engaging, fun and easy to follow along while listening (was multi-tasking).
I'm sorry the negative comments are loudest, but I promise they don't speak for the majority!
Happy Pride Month!
Whoever & wherever you are, whatever labels you use, and however you choose to celebrate, it's our hope that each of you is able to fully embrace it.
We all deserve joy and comfort when it comes to our identites, so thank you all for helping foster that ❤️
Maybe I just don't see it, but I feel like there's an untapped section for Pokémon TCG content.
As a consumer, I find myself wanting to see more social, at the table playing silly decks & odd formats for fun, rather than just deck analysis and format top 10s videos.
I gave up on teaching myself to draw because I have trouble sitting and letting myself do something I'm bad at.
Is it weird to think that I would benefit from learning art better in a class/group setting where my critiques and criticisms come from external sources?
@saligiafugiko62 That fact that Twilight Masquerade is still in pre-release just feels frustrating. You can't even sit and enjoy the newest thing that we don't even have yet without worrying about what's coming next down the pipeline 😮💨
Brain: Regional has passed, so now it's time to practice other competitive decks, right?
Me: Big hammer...
Brain: Yeah maybe, but we really shou...
Me: BIG HAMMER!!!!
Random side story from the weekend. At the event sign-in desk a person said they liked my tattoo, but were confused and asked "why did it land on that roll?" Being in a more positive and kid friendly space, I just simply explained that it kept my story going.
Depending on how this weekend goes, I've thought about trying to get a World's invite next year. Cost has definitely been a big concern, so it's awesome to see a breakdown like this!
💰Cost of a Worlds Invite from a Semi-Pro Pokémon TCG player in Florida💰
I attended 6 Major Events in order to get my Worlds Invite — I earned 350 points from Majors and the rest from Locals. Here’s how much it cost

The last 2 weeks at locals, there have been families come play Pokémon. Seeing these kids get so excited about playing and trading and then talking with the parents who are also learning right alongside them.
It's super wholesome and just another reason I love this community❤️
