#JakeRanks tries to be as objective as possible -- no "eye test" opinions. No ranking on beliefs/eye test. Last year is out. Arbitrary high school rankings mean nothing. Ranks are based purely on what has been done this year.

Everyone starts at zero.
We put all 138 FBS offensive lines on our preseason watch list because this award has never been about predictions. It’s about what shows up on tape.
That’s how Joe Moore measured an offensive line, and that’s how we recognize them today.
Who do you think proves it up front this year? 👇
It’s so obvious, yet rarely ever questioned. Last year doesn’t matter anymore AT ALL. We have NO idea who anyone is yet - so it’s impossible to have strength of schedule or FPI yet … there’s literally NO data to go off. Nothing to measure, compare or judge yet. However, we create this arbitrary baseline to begin the year 🤷🏻♂️
This season, the SEC will start a 9-game conference schedule 🗓️
A likely result of the additional conference game is that every SEC team has a strength of schedule in the Top-20, according to ESPN Analytics.
Annual Reminder: Any ranking developed before a single team touches the field is nothing more than cud to be chewed and regurgitated endlessly until real facts exist. By season's end, it will all be bullsh*t.
